The idea for Dyari Kurdistan was initiated by Dr Sharif Bajo in 2014 and implemented by Mr Ali Zeyto and his team. They started the project in March 2015. It took two and a half years of hard work to produce about 600 unique items representing Kurdistan's culture and heritage. Dyari Kurdistan is at the start of a very long journey which requires continuous improvement through research and innovation. It involves systematic contribution and support from artists, historians, university students and the public.
